I have just bought a xbox 360 for my son with minecraft and some other games.
having a look online indicates that there is a big update for it but i never get prompted to download the update or even one to say its available.
one thing that i thought that maybe causing the issue is that i don't have a xbox live account which looking online people have said its not needed for game updates, is this correct?
the 360 is connected to the internet via wifi and does have internet access.
i have gone to setup a "child" account and then gone to setup a adult account to manage this but i didn't want to put in my card details which i have to do to prove I'm the adult so i cancelled this.
if its because i don't have a xbox live account is there any other ways to get game updates?
