As a player, you operate an advanced mining ship in an open world asteroid belt area. You dig kilometers of tunnels, harvest the ore, travel the solar system, fight your enemies and discover deep secrets.

Game play is led by an epic story and is a combination of a single/multi-player game, cooperative, or you against everyone.

The story will introduce you to many types of missions: rescue, exploration, revenge, base defense, theft, transportation, stealth, search and destroy, pure harvesting, racing or just flying around and destroying everything you see.

Platform: Windows, Xbox 360 Live Arcade

Looks interesting, duno when its coming out but if it goes f2p it might be somit to try i guess.
 
The orientation/sci fi theme of it reminds me of forsaken, which is always a good thing! The name of it is pretty terrible though, makes me think it's a facebook game or something.
 
Bought this game with some leftover credit I had on greenmangaming, has anyone played it?

From what I gather you get two games - Miner Wars 2081 and a Miner Wars mmo. From what I gather the mmo is f2p and can only be had by buying the game Miner Wars 2081. A bit complicated...

Im hoping its more like freelancer than minecraft, greenman didn't give me a key so I'll let you guys know what I think when they get me one.
