Hi guys,

Looking to get back into pc gaming, I've not been part of the PC scene for a 6+ years, so would appreciate some assistance with a build.

Budget is £1000, must be a mini atx (thinking bitfenix), as it will be hooked up to the tv vi hdmi in the lounge, so space is a factor. Looking to play new/upcoming games, so want it to be as future proof as possible. Don't need any extra peripherals, but will need an OS in the budget and an SSD.

Thanks in advance for any help.

2 x BitFenix Spectre PRO 120mm Fan - All Black £11.99 (£23.98)
Total : £979.92 (includes shipping : £11.75).

PSU has been chosen due to it's dimensions (140mm deep) and it has the bonus of being modular which is important when space is an issue.

Have chosen Haswell as it's the newer socket, so is as future proof as you're going to get right now. The CPU is a very good one and will last you.

I've added 2 quieter fans to replace the ones that come with the unit as they are a bit loud.
