My mini bicycle pump has two levers, Hi-V (High Volume) and Hi-P (Hi Pressure). When do I use the Hi-P lever?

I'm also struggling to inflate the tyre to its recommended psi. Is this normal for mini pumps?

What tyre is it? But yeah, it's probably normal.

I would imagine hi pressure is for thinner tyres and high volume is for thicker but I've not seen that on a pump personally.

MTB = low pressure high volume
Roadie = high pressure low volume

I've had several bike pumps but this is the best I've carried with me - Topeak Morph Mini

I also have a Topeak Track pump for my weekly checks.
