Mini PCs

:)

Sorry fellas for the confusion. I am actually after a mini PC, the portable ones.

Any suggestion on good brands?

Thanks!

I would love to build one myself, however as it is a small unit, I might have issues knowing the right specifications to put together in comparison to the standards PCs.

Does OCUK sell them by the way? and are you suggesting the ready made ones are not really worth it?

cheers for the link. I am quite impressed with the one that comes with i5, its a bit pricey though but worth it I guess. Can I upgrade after purchase..hard disk etc

It's true you probably can't build as small a PC as some of the off the shelf products, as they use purpose made chassis and non standard components. A home made ITX would be my choice, as building/tweaking is half the fun!

I thought as much. can you shed more light on the ITX please (in terms of tweaking and building)?

Good question Brennen. To be used for 'light' game plays and Adobe applications but majorly running simple applications. That would be the peak of usage.

Marine, thanks. Thats a good price but I am actually surprised no information is being provided about the HDD capacity/size, thesame goes to the graphics spec. I have search on google, same results.
