i have a 295x2 graphic card. will these cables work for eyefinity.

That's because Displayport didn't when those cables were released and that product page made.

Of course it doesn't mean the cables can't do 4K when connecting a 4K capable DP card to a 4K capable DP monitor. I can't remember off hand if DP cables are backwards/forwards compatible like SATA cables.

Yes the cables are backwards/forwards compatible, it will be fine.
