Hello,
I am planning to sell my mini dv camcorder to pay for my Fujifilm hs10 camera. I read somewhere that mini DV is far better quality than cameras that use SD or HD. If this is so then i may well keep my camcorder but if the mini dv is not so great these days I will sell it as intended. Which is more superior my Fujifilm HS10 Camera:

The HS10 captures 1080p HD videos at 1920 x 1080 at 30 fps (and several lower resolution options) plus several high-speed movie options ranging from 60fps to 1000 fps - all with stereo audio

:)
Or my Mini DV Camcorder:

General.
Product Type Camcorder .
Digital Zoom 320.0 x .
Camcorder Media Type Mini DV .
Optical Sensor Type CCD .
Image Stabilizer Electronic .
Lens System.
Type 16.0 x x Zoom lens - 3.9 mm - 62.4 mm - F/1.6 .
Lens aperture F/1.6 .
Optical zoom 16.0 x .
Lens system type Zoom lens .
Min focal length 3.9 mm .
Max focal length 62.4 mm

I have a mini DV Panasonic. Cost a fair bit. I also have a solid state Samsung that cost half as much.

The Samsung is better even on the lowest settings.

Thanks for that ben. My Mini DV cost me about £400 about 5 years ago but wont sell it if I will only get little for it now sd and hdd media has taken over.
