Hello,

Looking to spec up a mini gaming PC that I can take round my friend's house (so has to be portable) and can hopefully fit on a shelf of my TV stand (max height 27cm).

Budget is around £900, so hoping that the GTX1070 is between £300-400, leaving £500~ for the rest.

I already have a Samsung EVO SSD, so don't require a hard drive.

How does this look? Any foreseeable issues with fitting this all in the case? (I've seen builds using the same case with a GTX780, so hopefully will be okay)

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £513.60
(includes shipping: £11.70)

Thanks

Is any additional cooling needed?

I already have a few case fans sitting around, so hopefully I can fit some of them.

I currently have an i5 4670k / GTX780 / 850w PSU gaming rig, but I want to have a more portable one.

Maybe it would be better to get a mini-itx 1150 mobo and just use my existing CPU/RAM/PSU/HDDs in the Coolermaster Elite 130 case? The performance increase from the 4 series to 6 series i5 doesn't look to be massive.

My only concern is fitting my PSU in the case (current PC here)

There's only a tiny amount of space in the elite 130 for the cpu cooler as the power supply fits above the mother board, so might not have the room for that cooler. I use a 120mm aio cpu cooler, which does a pretty good job if you can stretch your budget to one.

But yeah, have a look at clearance most air coolers won't fit. Its literally like 55mm

As for the psu the case does fit a full ATX power supply so shouldn't be a problem.

This is the cooler I use and it does the job :) but if not you'll need to look at the low profile coolers.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £48.65
(includes shipping: £8.70)

That cpu cooler won't fit. The max size is listed as 65mm and the Raijintek is 136mm.

You would need something like this:

Total: £26.69

I would also suggest a better psu. The Corsair CS is overpriced for what it is.

These are all better units. The max psu length is listed at 188mm so they will all fit. I would also add the EVGA G2 550W to the list, but it isn't stocked by ocuk.

Awesome guys, thanks for the information.

I'll definitely go for the Cooler Master Seidon cooler and the EVGA G2 PSU
