Mini HDMI Issue

Right.

My 560TI, doesnt seem to like or want to use mini-HDMi.

I bought a Mini-hdmi to Hdmi lead off eBay. Cost couple of quid.

Connected the hdmi end to my TV, and the mini hdmi to the GFX. Nothing seems to happen.

My TV basically shows. Mode Not Supported.

The resolution is not supported on this TV. Please change the resolution.

Im using 1920x1080. The TV does support this, as it works fine if i use a DVI To HDMI connection.

Not sure why it doesn't want to work!

Its not the shared one by any chance? Usually a DVI and HDMI is shared, so maybe it will not output properly?

Meaning i could only have one or the other.

Removed the DVI connection to the monitor and just lef the mini-hdmi in. But still the same.

Dodgy cable maybe?

Hmm, try downgrading the resolution perhaps? Might be worth a go?

Like you say, may be a dodgy cable? Perhaps you need to enable some sort of mode in the driver settings for it to output to a tv?

I dunno, so im out

Tried changing the resolution. Nothing happened

TV doesn't even appear under the Nvidia control panel.
