Erm, I have left my Ipod Mini in my bag for a few days now and it doesn't power on when I hook it up to my computer.

I remember reading that if left completely to drain you need to reset the player but I can't for the life of me remember what to press? Can anybody help me please?

Visit Ipods support section i'm sure you'll find what your looking for there. If your looking to reset it (which i'm not sure really that is what your looking for) press and hold the middle/select button and whilst holding it down press and hold the menu button for several seconds, this will reset it.

I don't think you need to reset it though when the batteries drained, as leezer3 said if the batteries drained I'd assume you just recharge it, plug it into your PC and wait for it to have enough battery life for it to turn back on.

Yeah, this used to happen to me when i had one.

Just leave it plugged in for a while and it should reset itself and carry on charging.

:)

Thanks guys I plugged it in and waited, now it works fine. I hate the battery life in their first generation mp3 players which is just terrible.
