Mini ITX board for a pentium D

I have a old pentium D computer beside me, its motherboard is starting to fail as i sometimes get stuck on the bios for like 3 minutes before it starts to boot. Defiantly not the processor as iv tried it out on a different motherboard. So iv decided to make a small HTPC with this chip instead of spending loads of money on a i3 / 1155 m-itx solution. Iv already got the graphics card and ram just need a motherboard (case is on its way, second hand silverstone sg06b).

I can find boards, but i have no clue what to choose. Could you recommend me one?

Hi,

The pentium D would make a poor HTPC. It's uses quite a bit of power for the performance.

You'd be better with a complete package like:

Add some memory and a HDD and you're all set.

The board has sufficient GPU power for 1080p decoding so you won't need a graphics card and it even has HDMI out for easy connection.
