Mini ITX board help

Right I have a Jetway B650FD socket 478, can't get it working. It beeps over and over, long beeps. The manual says this means that the RAM is not present or not working.

I have tested the ram in my main rig and its fine, plus used my kingmax in the little board still no joy. The 2.66 chip works fine as I tested this.

Anyone any sugestions or is the board borked?

not easy finding mini-itx boards.....

if the prognoses is borked anyone sugest a board for socket 478 (17.6x24.0cm) :confused:

Sounds like a dead board, you tried removing the battery and letting it reset?

sure have, think its borked now. yeah its been sat overnight no battery.

I've been all over the city today trying to find an 478 board to fit... now such joy.. (didn't think so anyway). Don't really want to have to change to 775

Axiomtek SBC86800 is still about as far as I know.

478 is practically dead, so finding a ITX board will be especially hard.

Easy enough to get a 479 board though, no help at all but I like dothans.

I know but I don't want to change processor if I can get away with it.

Yeah I have seen a 479 board but again changing the processor for one extra pin......
