Mini-ITX Build - Am I missing anything obvious or likely to have it blow up in my face?

Hello folks,

I've learned a lot on here, and it's been fun speccing out a dream-PC, but I've realised that if I spend any more time speccing it out I'm never going to buy the thing!

So, could one of you with more experience just cast your eye over this little lot and let me know if I'm storing up problems for the future?

The RAM is for laptops. If this is a gaming build you don't need 16gb, either.

The CPU cooler is too big for the case: max height is 90mm.

90mm is tiny, so you'll probably want an AIO water cooler. As you've got 140mm in the top, you can use an NZXT Kraken.

Your PSU is also too big: max is 160mm deep.

Point taken on....everything you've said. Kicking myself over the laptop memory, schoolboy error! Thanks particularly in regard to your cooling advice.

I want it to be a general-purpose build - I do a lot of excel/database/photoshop/illustrator work, (and I dabble with CAD, so 3D software, too) - so I want to get 16gB in there. With that in mind, could you make a recommendation on memory, too?

Thanks for your attention, btw. I'm finding this building-your-own lark gets a bit complicated when you don't want it in a case the size of a chest of drawers!
 
Yup, ITX builds can get a little complex with all the space requirements. Here your go: you stuff, plus the PSU, cooler, and RAM.

I swapped your SSD for the Samsung EVO. Everyone loves it.

You may also want to get a good 140mm fan for the bottom as it will be your only source of fresh air. Something like this, if you also want it to be quiet:
