Mini ITX build

Hello

I have recently discovered mini ITX cases which would be great for me as I travel a lot and will need to bring it with me.

Here is my current spec;

Not sure whether the radiator, PSU or graphics card will fit.

Apparently the audio bit on the motherboard fouls most graphics cards.

Also I need as much shaved of it in price as possible. As close to £1000.

Like this? Sadly not all the parts are in stock but they will be dispatched once they are. You are right the H100i wont fit with the optical drive in there. It might be possible to get it fitted externally if you take the lid of the case but using the 920 is a dead cert.

Perhaps with the ram I could get less but have a more speed on them.
Also would a 550w power supply be enough.

Yep the power supply would be enough. Might be worth getting a motherboard which isnt voltage locked such as:

That said you can reach about 4.3 - 4.4 overclock on the voltage locked so the gain might be minimal.

If you are just gaming you only really need 8GB, as there are only two RAM slots I wouldn't blame you for doing 16GB as a matched pair as you cant add more if you just went with 8GB. Faster than 1600mhz makes little odds on this socket. 550W is ample for a single GPU setup and it's gold rated for efficiency

I used the retail bluray drive as for an extra £5 it comes with the software for playback for convenience

Custom pc said that the motherboard audio header fouls most graphics cards. I do not wish to find out that I can not put the graphics card in.

On the top of the case (where i guess i will install my radiator) there is a grill there. Would this grill need to be removed to install the radiator as I think it looks better with the grill on.
