So it seems that Richland APUs will come with 8000 series graphics capabilities, e.g. the A6-6400K comes with 8470D graphics.

Now, most FM2 ITX boards, even A85 chipset boards, only say they support 7000 series graphics capability. Does anyone know of such boards that support 8000 series graphics?

So far I've found this gigabyte offering but it doesn't seem to be on sale with any of their UK stockers. I'd be interested to see if anyone knows of any others.

The alternative is to go with a trinity APU (which have 7000 series graphics) and get one of the easily available motherboards that supports this.

It should work fine as long as the BIOS supports the actual CPU itself. I would imagine the board specs pre-date the release of info for the new CPUs and as far as I'm aware there is no reason why the MB shouldn't work with a higher spec onboard GPU as the actual output from the CPU will be the same.

The 8000 series graphics in Richland are different in name alone from the 7000 series equivalent found in Trinity; It's exactly the same technology, so Richland works without problem on any FM2 board. It will work well enough out of the box - just drop it in - though a bios update will be worthwhile to make sure the board recognises the CPU properly.

Yeah, the board specs just needs updating. Every A55/75/85x board will support the Richland APUs fully. The graphics are part of the APU rather than the board.
