mini itx in p182?

I've got rather used antec P182 case (see ebay) and am thinking of pulling the auction getting myself one of those mini itx atom motherboards and putting it in and running as a webserver.

Can a standard atx case house a mini itx motherboarxd?

Yes - the MiniITX mountings are ATX compatible, and will mount into any standard mATX/ATX case.

I think I saw a mod where someone had mounted one in addition to a normal ATX system, all in their P182/P180! Seems like a huuuge case just for miniITX though!

I would say yes too - as far as i remember ITX have the same screw layout as the top left section of an ATX mobo.

Why would you want an ITX board inside a case that size?

Not to mention having plenty of room for loads of hard drives if you buy one of those PCI slot SATA adapters (no idea what the proper name is for them) -- Possibly RAID cards? :O

(In retrospect I probably should have just refrained from posting...)
