Hi All,

I'm about to start buying parts for a DIY Microserver. I already have the case (a Fractal Design Node 304) but need a motherboard. Can you recommend some mini ITX Coffee Lake boards, possible with an M.2 slot?

I don't really have a budget for this, so the cheaper the better.

Many thanks

You want to look at B360 ITX boards if you're not overclocking. This looks OK

You'll find though that the B360 ITX boards are a bit cheaper, but the Coffee Lake CPUs are stupid money. Conversely, the AMD route gives you substantially cheaper CPUs with the B450 ITX boards being a wee bit more expensive.

So unless there is a specific reason you're saying Coffee Lake, I'd look at the Ryzen 2 route and B450 ITX boards.
