Looking for a good Motherboard to use for an ITX build that i am about to do next month.

Going to use a Lian Li PC-Q07B Mini-ITX Case and i could use my existing AMD 640 Quad CPU.

Not sure if i should stick with AMD or go Intel but i would like to have quad core whichever. Plus, i will be using onboard GPU until next year when i may buy a dedicated GPU.

As for budget, cheap as possible really but also want a nice board / CPU.

I won't be gaming straight off so as said, onboard GPU will suffice for now.

Not sure if i should stick with the AMD or go for a completely new setup?

AMD users aren't exactly spoilt for choice with 'modern' ITX boards. As far I can tell all you get here are the ASUS M4A88T-I Deluxe and the Sapphire 785G. Out of those two I'd chose the ASUS, even if it is a SO-DIMM board. Unless you set your sights further afield, like I did, that's pretty much all you have to play with. Sadly, for the fanboy in me, Intel users have a much better ITX range to play with.

I'm currently waiting for the stuff to be delivered for my Lian Li PC-Q11B build, which I'm tentatively titling 'Fanboy Folly' :o, and I'll post it on here, just to amuse everyone. Reading through my experiences might help.

It's just a shame ParcelFarce have got involved in the delivery process for my Minix 890GX motherboard.
