Hi,
I need some help with making the right choice with choosing either a mini-ITX, Micro ATX or standard ATX setup. So, I have had my PC for 6+ years, my USB ports have failed and have not been working now for about a year, so I had to install an USB adapter card.
The battery also died just a few days ago so I had to replace that too. Sooner or later my board will pack in, so I am looking at either a Mini-ITX or Micro ATX build. I'd like to downgrade in size and just want a smaller compact size PC for gaming, nothing extreme. My desk is huge so we want to just get a smaller desk and having a smaller PC would be ideal.
I have a huge Silvertone case tower, Asus Maximus VII motherboard, i7 4770, 16Gig Corsair Vengeance DDR3 and GTX 1080 Founders Edition and has served me well these past 6 years. I defiantly like the look of the Lian-Li cases. I was thinking of PC-05S or 6S Micro ATX. Can anyone tell me if I were to go for a Mini-ITX case with my current video card and this motherboard

A new i7 chip, pretty much something like this, would this last me a long time to just do some mid-end gaming with no real issues? I never bothered with SLI or water-cooling and I have 2 internal drives and 2 external. I have never gone high-end with hardware or upgrading. I only upgrade my video card when I need to. Is this kind of size setup and case be ok for what I want it for? Or should I just stick with a normal size PC setup?
Thanks for your help
