Is there anything wrong with using a mini-ITX system as a desktop work PC?
Something like the dual core 330 Atom? PC will be only used for Office and net

Nothing wrong with that at all. Only apps that may suffer a bit of slowdown are big datasets in Excel and/or Access I reckon. Put a SSD drive in there and it should fly :)

or get a mini itx board like the Zotac board which has Socket 775 support and PCI-E support, or alternatively if you can wait, get the new DFI mini itx board which has Socket 1156 and PCI-E support.....

Nowt wrong with using either of those for a desktop :D
