Mini ITX Router

Hello all,

I am wanting to build a mini ITX router to replace my superhub and as a project to work on. Obviously, it is something I want to build cheaply but keep ITX to make it nice and easy to hide. However, I am struggling to find good motherboards that fit my needs. I have a few criteria, it would be great if someone could recommend a motherboards to me.

The three options I see are:

• 
  Get a motherboard with two gigabit LAN ports and a PCI or PCIE slot for a wireless card.

• 
  Get a motherboard with 2 PCI or PCIE slots and use one for gigabit NIC and the other for wireless.

• 
  Get a motherboard with a single PCI or PCIE slot for gigabit LAN and plug an access point into a switch for wireless.

I don't really care about the socket, although a 1155 with a Pentium would be nice.

Any suggestions for power supplies as well? I have a few laptop chargers lying around, can I use one with a Pico PSU?

Hello, thanks for the replies.

I have managed to get an Intel D525MW and a gigabit NIC for £25 from a friend. All I need to get now is a power supply, case and wireless card.

I was thinking of getting either the Akasa Crypto Vesa with 80w PSU or the Thermaltake Element Q with a 220w PSU.

I am leaning towards the Akasa as it has a lower power PSU as well as looking smaller and sleeker- any advice or experience with these cases?

In regard to a wireless card, the motherboard has a mini PCIe slot, in which I was thinking of putting an Atheros AR5008 to act as the AP. Does anyone know if it definitely supports dual band?
