Folks,

Can anybody recommend a different solution than the Asus E35M1 deluxe mini-itx board for my Antec ISK300-150 case?

I was trying to wait for the E45 version but I don't think this will be in stock any time soon. I've been looking at other boards to no avail. I think the £128 ish price tag is quite high, I don't need wireless as I have gigabit ethernet etc. Not really fussed by USB3 as I don't have any USB3 devices etc.

All I want is a decent motherboard, CPU and GPU that will allow me to run Windows 7 64-bit and watch blu-ray ISOs, DVD-ISOs, MKV, AVI, surf the web etc.

Ideally, it would be silent but not really a major issue for me, as quiet as possible would be fine. I won't be playing games.

Again, Intel or AMD?

Could work out @ around £115 if you find a good deal on the motherboard?

But the E-450 doesn't offer much over the E-350 anyway, whats stopping you from grabbing one?

Thanks. I'm just trying to buy something that will do everything I need without paying for extras I won't be using. I realize this applies to most things :) I am just wondering whether to go;

1. mobo/CPU/GPU combined on one board
2. seperate mobo/CPU/GPU

If you want to go Intel, and are not fussed about the latest features, what about a H61 mobo and a Pentium G620 ? Pretty sure the CPU`s gfx would deal with everything you need.

Can be had for a fraction over £100 if you look around.

If all you want to do is surf the net and watch 1080 videos you cannot go wrong with an E-350. Get the Gigabyte or MSI boards both of which are under £100 and will do everything you want.
