with the upcoming BitFenix Prodigy case coming out.

I have rethought my plans of building an standard atx build.

My question is regarding builds in particular motherboards,

Are there any advantages or disadvantages with using a mini-itx over standard atx.

the most obvious being there is less pci expansions slots.
But the main question for me is, does performance stay the same.

will a 1155 with iveybridge processor perform just as well as it would have a normal atx system

Apart from the number of ports and slots, they often don't overclock well, as most ITX are designed for HTPCs and small portable rigs and not gaming performance. However, that ASRock looks like a fine board.

microATX is the best of both worlds...imo anyway
smaller than ATX, but with 70-80% of expansion slots, but tbh, 99% of users will never use all the expansion slots so full ATX is kinda useless
