Looks like he has updated the listing and removed the delayed shipping noticed since I ordered yesterday. Can only be a good thing I suppose.

Have you tried the reset switch?. Wee hole between USB connection and card slot. Stick a pin in there and hold for 15 seconds or so then reconnect it to yer PC and see if it works. Worth a shot. :cool:
 
There doesn't feel like a button in that hole? Ah that's because I couldn't press it hard enough with a needle. Seems to be working now!

Yeah, it's all to do with getting the angle right. :cool:

So Clown - Did that do the trick and get the camera working again?. As I posted earlier, they sometimes get stuck in "Webcam mode" where they wont be detected by your PC when you plug it in via USB and the light will stay on whether it is plugged in or not. The reset switch usually does the trick. ;)
 
looks like air mail is coming out of hong kong quicker than we thought it was going to take. Hopefully mine ordered on the 16th and 18th will be here soon

As far as the Webcam mode goes for the #3 variants of the camera, taken from the CHUCKLOHR website :-

WEBCAM BUTTON TRICK - There are two ways to get into webcam mode. If the webcam driver has not been installed, Windows will ask you to install it. When done with webcam mode you might have to reset the camera.
1. Connect the USB cable. Once connected as a mass storage device a quick press of the power button will switch to webcam mode. A quick press of the power button again will switch back to mass storage mode.
2. Press and hold the mode button, then connect the USB cable. When the camera LED comes on, release the mode button.

Mine arrived today, sadly I didn't get round to ordering the memory card and our track day was 2 days ago lol.

Need to find a cheap place to get a memory card from now.

How long does the battery last? How many minutes will it record per GB?
