Is the SD Card not formatted anyway? I know mine worked out the box.

odds are it's already formatted to FAT32 but if not you can still just plug it in with the card in and it's like any other card reader.
Glad I didn't buy an SDcard as I remembered I had a 4GB one somewhere from my HTC Magic and after a good old sift through my bits I found the small piece of sweetness sat inside my MicroSD to SD adapter card 
The camcorder has yet to turn up though but I will certainly do a car video when it does!

Got mine last week, quality is suprisingly good for the price

Got mine today as well but Ive only just had a chance to play with it. I'm a bit disappointed tbh, doesn't seem anywhere near as good quality as the videos i have seen in this thread.
It could be down to the fading light though, I'll have a go at the weekend in bright daylight.

Reducing the size of the video will make it seem that the quality is better. Try uploading one of your videos to youtube.
Yeah its a 3, it has the yellow date and time in the corner.
I think its probably due to the light fading and the fact i have crappy energy saving bulbs in my house. Will give it a try tomorrow morning outside and see what its like.

yep, these have a small sensor, so poor (noisey) performance in low light.
In daylight they work much better.
