How long did delivery take from the guy in Hong Kong? I've been waiting 3 weeks now from the dispatched email and still nothing...
This thread does not deliver. I waded through 34 pages wanting a Cat Cam and found nothing but Car Cam's.
People of OcUK, your audience demands helicopter/airplane/balloon or Cat Cam vids.
Don't let us down peeps...![]()
you're not the only one, i ordered on the 7th of may and i'm still waiting. Usually stuff from Hong Kong takes about 2 weeks.
Ok, even though its raining, and dark, ima going to strap it on the heli and spy on the neighbours for you.
Honey Bee CP3
- Ok btw, any heli people online? I've set the Gyro proportional all the way to the right, and the rudder trim all the way to the right, but it still turns left, and no matter how high or low the Gain, i still get tail wobble. I'm guessing the tail rotor is on the way out. Any thoughts?
- Also, I've used Vdub Deshaker to smooth out the video. It's a lot smoother, but I loose some clarity.
- @13 seconds there is a freeze frame, (looks like its moving because of Vdub Deshaker) I'm using 8GB Kingston Micro SD, I get about 14mB/s transfer via usb.
This time more than a bit windy and raw footage (except remove timestamp plugin) a couple of days ago on my 21st birthday =]
I've got some Dogcam footage from the weekend but it's 1.2 GB. Also if I use virtualdub to remove the timestamps the file size goes up to 12GB. any clue what I'm doing wrong?

how long can these record for on one charge?? and how big would the file be? I'm pretty interested in buying one, but just need to plan out the memory card size etc.
Yeah, like above ^, using vdub filter to remove the timestamp didn't increase the size. When you saved it, by default it'll save as an uncompressed AVI.
Solution:
At the top of Vdub, go to Video -> Compression -> Scroll down to Xvid
Now when you save the file, it'll be way smaller, and Xvid is a pretty neat codec. Even at the highest quality Xvid setting, it'll be much smaller than the uncompressed AVI, with no noticable difference. If you want it to be an even smaller filesize, for uploading, just slide the compression down a bit.
(if you don't have Xvid, find a codec back in google)
Think its about 1 hour from full. The end size would be 4Gb odd, so a 4gb card is a pretty good option.
aaah thankshow does it charge??
