Hi, I am new to macs, never had one & I know very little about them apart from what i've researched over the past day or so. Currently in the lounge we have a very stylish sunray 2 thin client that connects to a windows terminal server upstairs but she is now demanding something that can do multimedia, play msn games etc etc.
I am thinking a mini mac will look good & do what she requires
Obviously the intel based ones are newer & faster but should I discount the older g4 based models? They are a lot cheaper 2nd hand.
I hear that windows can be installed? I dont intend to do this but as a fall back it may be a useful feature, is this only possible on the intel mac?
Are there any must have advantages with the newer mac or will the older g4 one suit, I guess I am just looking for some reassurance.
ps I assume that an rdp client is included with mac?
thanks in advance for any helpful replies
