Mini Mac Size but Desktop Uber PC?

Just wondering now that we see NoteBooks with Sli MXM Nvidia gfx, surely someone could a duo core PC the size of a Mac Mini(maybe a little bigger) with an MXM gfx port?

or has this been already done

thats like saying why would anyone want a mac mini to begin with

the portability for lan partys would be awesome

besides I thought the whole idea behind computer technology was to make things more powerful yet smaller
