Like to add, put the HD and ram in myself and it works a treat and is as quiet as a mouse. Hope it lasts longer than the100gb Seagate supplied by Apple. Lasted 18 months.

Mini Mac help

Nope, didn't take pictures but this link should help.

I did it a bit different and took out dvd player first.
I put it together late at night and had power light but even player didn't work.
Went thru it again in the morning and all came to life. I am a young 61 year old with not too much savy on this stuff. Just take a deep breath and don't panic. It was great.

I must add, I have an Iomega multi media Pro HD (759gb) and I backed up with Leopards time machine and it worked a treat just setting up new drive.

Good job and welcome to the forums, the guys in the mac sections are great with there help and helped me loads and looks like you could be some help too in the future ;). :D

That's brilliant. :D

That link you posted is also very good. I wish I'd bought a Mac Mini because I'm using an iMac at the moment as a file server and it always feels like a waste.
