I need help with building a mini-itx machine for a project of mine. Essentially I'm setting up a touchscreen for a permanent exhibition for learning purposes. I need a small PC to basically be running all the time. It would only run the piece of software that would be used in the exhibition and nothing else. The minimum specifications I've been given are as follows:
- Windows 7/8
- Dual core 2.9Ghz (Quad core preferred)
- 4gb RAM (8GB preferred)
- 1GB graphics card memory (AMD, NVIDIA or IntelHD)
Bare in mind that it is a permanent exhibition so this might be running for a very long time. I'm having trouble finding a good balance between comfortably meeting those specs and price. My budget is £350-£400. NO MORE. Thanks for any help.
