Well just watched the following:
The Host - so, so more Japanese sci-fi than horror. Plot is a little aimless but it's good film to just put on if you're not up for anything serious. [5/10]
Eight Legged Freaks - oh yes! Fantastic slice of horror parody! Funny, with a few moments to make you jump. Get the beer and popcorn in and watch. If you like something better than Tremors have a look. [8/10]
The Departed - slow moldering mob film that opens up to be action packed drama. Jack Nicholson is fantastic as the boss. Serious popcorn stuff and definitely one to watch (cross between godfather, Ronin and Bourne series). [8/10]
