Mini Upgrade

Hey,

I currently have a P4 3.4 (Prescott) and looking for a mini upgrade (cpu, mobo and ram) as the rest of my PC is pretty decent (gfx card is a 1800xt)

Im looking at "Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB)" but wanted to know if this would make a big difference in what i have already.

Also what motherboard and ram should i stick with them? as the sheer choice still blows me away

CPU: e4300 or e6300. The 6600 is good, but little gains for more money.
Mobo: Asus P5N 650SLi or P5B, or a gigabyte DS3/4
RAM: Cheapest 2GB PC6400 - Geil is good value at the moment.

Oh, and any conroe will make a big difference compared to your prescott
