Found a very good deal for an Asus mobo but it has a faulty USB port. Doesn't bother me as other ports work ok but could this be an indication that the motherboard is on its way out?
That all depends on why it’s faulty, but it’s not likely contagious or going to spread unless it’s a stacked port and something like a bad solder joint, but that would likely be due to ham fisted users rather than anything else.
