Anyone got one of these little low-power devices?
Linutop
Koolu
Gumstix

The linutop & Koolu are based on the AMD geode, around 500MHz. They are both far too expensive though (€300 + delivery??)
But i recently saw something that looks very similar to the linutop 2/koolu on HUKD for £140 delivered, but it only has 256MB RAM, and it doesn't even say what speed, or even what processor it has.
It looks very similar to the koolu, and this seems to be the company that actually make them, so they should all have the same CPU (LX 800), just different RAM/HDD?

Does anyone have one of those ^^, or anything similar? They look pretty nifty!

ARTiGO Pico-ITX Builder Kit
*Sorry, not risking posting any links ;)*

Little bigger but more powerful, and a pretty nifty bit of kit for it's size.

I've recently bought a Pico-ITX system for my final year project demo, it's 10cmx7.2cm and will have gentoo installed on it when I get round to it, it surprised me just how tiny it is though, came to £183 including 1Gb ram and should linux reasonably enough with that spec (although i'll be using fluxbox as the window manager, don't think it'd cope that well with gnome/kde really...)

That didn't include a pretty box though, just the hardware as that was all I needed :)

Pico looks nice and spec for price is dead cheap.

Heh, it says you can install it on a desktop in a 5.25 slot like a CD Drive but is a computer instead :p

I've a Soekris Net5501 for a gateway / other bits and bobs.
Works nicely once you get it setup. Little expensive but its very nicely built. Run an 8gb SSD on it with an extra Gbit NIC on the free pci card
