Minimise and maximise buttons were recently removed from the window titlebars in GNOME 3.

I hope they make it a configurable choice. They probably wont though which will be annoying

Saying that Gnome 3 is looking pretty awesome so far.

Looks like this release might see Linux Mint's niche come back, i think there was a period during 10.04 -10.10 where it wasn't quite needed but for those who want that classic, 'elegant yet simple' desktop it might be the better choice.
