Minimum partition size for a W7 install.

I have a spare 15gb partition, will this be enough to install W7 on? I can install all my programs on another existing partition.

It'll be a tight fit

7 was using ~13 gig of my 30gig partition immediately after install.

Is there a program like nLite that allows me to slim W7 down like I can with XP?

XP uses less than 1gb after slimming...

Windows XP only used 3gig not slimmed...

Have the page file on another partition, move/disable your hyberfil, as well as installing apps to another partition and it might work.

Well, I've installed it (x86), it uses 10Gb, it's all good.

Google a program called 'nLite'

It allows you to remove parts of Windows XP that you don't use.

I always make a 60g partition for windows etc.
