Minimum requirements of ADSL router for fibre?

Hi all,

Probably a silly question but be nice to get a confirmation

Have a DSL router that supports ADSL + ADSL2+ mode. The router only being compatible with ADSL Annex A/B

Can you confirm if this will work with Fibre, if not what are the minimum requirements of a DSL router to support fibre?

It either needs to have an internal VDSL modem, or an Ethernet WAN port to connect to an external modem.

Most times when you get Fiber installed, they should send you a fiber modem, Sky have the sr102 VDSL modem/router and BT normally provide you with the homehub, or the BT-open reach white fiber modem.
