Hi,
I am having a problem with a miniPCIe wireless card, which is not appearing in the device manager within Windows XP. The wireless card is an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG. I know that the slot works as it used to detect the previous wireless card.
The mother board I have is the Zotac IONITX-A which came with an Azurewave AR5891 wireless card. I am trying to swap the wireless card for the one in my laptop (the Intel) as I require N connectivity on my laptop but have no use for it on the IONITX. The Azurewave card works fine in my laptop (I'm using it at the moment) but the Intel one just will not register on the Zotac board.
The Intel wireless card has been reseated so I am sure that it is correctly inserted into the slot. Does anyone have any idea why it would not show up at all in windows?
