I simply haven't made use of the gaming rig in my Sig and i'm going to sell it.

Has anyone gone for any of these smaller machine as a desktop replacement? I'd like to keep something that is snappy, but zero need for gaming...

They're ideal for that, efficient and quiet.

Keep in mind that often these mobile chips will perform well against desktop class chips for short periods but longer periods of heavy CPU use they will power throttle and decrease performance by like 25%. I use or have used a variety of these kind of systems including the Ryzen 7000 HS series, Intel 265 65 watt, etc. and they are fine for desktop use and hold up well to a variety of tasks.

Consider the K12 (under £200), its a fraction of the price and plenty powerful for desktop use.

Same case and cooling as the K11.
