Hi all,

I have got a Ministack 250GB external HDD and was wondering what sort of formatting does it need? NTFS?

I want to put my MP3s/Movies from my PC onto it and then use it with my Mini Mac. Will the Mac still be able to read the Ministack if its formatted in NTFS?

cheers

Mac's won't write NTFS out of the box. You're going to want to use FAT32, or use HFS and then get MacDrive for your PC.

This is the way ahead as having it FAT32 could be an issue if you're wanting to put large files on it.
