Minor error on OCUK site

If your NHS trust is like mine, it'll be IE6 you're using? That's most likely the problem.

I suspected that was the problem, in which case it's a problem with the browser, or rather lazy network/IT admins and not OcUK. Less than 1% of browsers in the UK are IE6, and it's usage should be discouraged.

Why are people still using IE6? surely Windows updates should be forced upon these? I can't imagine there would be any need for people to use IE6 these days, not even for comparability of a web app they are using....It's soo old

Looks and works fine here on a 1280x1024 monitor, both in FF14 and IE9.

They use a lot of custom software. Maybe some of it wont run on windows 7.

Probably. We have to run a lot of systems via Remote App on Windows a terminal Services for this reason. The public sector is full of crappy "legacy" software.

1280x1024 is the resolution I always design for.

Me too. The 1024x768ers can sod off. Everyone really should have moved past that resolution now, unless you're living in a mud hut in Ghana.
