Did a recovery mode at bootup. Is my drive going? Windows seems fine, I had the last FS error a week ago I think, not really sure. I checked with the drive util, sheeesh, I think it was this year, no errors with them. Is there a app. like memtest for hard drives?

fsck? It's easy enough to use, no need for a GUI. I thought most distros automatically checked it at boot anyway, after a certain number of mounts.
