Mint 10, Firefox 16.0.2 Facebook slow pages?

When I first load up FB it seems ok, but prob. 30ish min. it starts going slow. Not as bad as Dial up, but it is more than a minor annoyance, but I can restart FF it is good. All pages not just FB, sorry I have to share stuff for it to do that.

I know zilch about Linux, but is it possible that the browser is caching the site in one big file and each time you load a page it's adding to that file causing slowdown?

Hard to explain... What happens if you browse something like reddit/imgur for 30 minutes?

It is only Facebook?

Other sites seems like they slow also, maybe it is the cache. The cache is 1024 MB, so that seems like a no. Next time it happens I will clear it & see if that fixes it.
