mint 11 minimise , maximise

any ideas? i can minimise the programs but the only way to get them back is to ALT+Tab ?

i used to click the program in the bottom task bar but they dont appear on the right anymore when minimised

ok found out that in compiz prefs you can choose default profile.

for some of the effects it must use another profile but you ask it to give you cool effects, which it does.. but then it steals some buttons from your windows in return.

compiz is a nightmare @ moment on 11, keeps reverting to older settings. the o/s has hung 3 times so far and my USB pen is not recognised and to top it off it generally feels slower like win7 speeds

sadly gonna go to ubunutu 11 now

ohh well, mint 9 was perfect tbh i should have stuck with it.
