Anyone else testing this?

Switching between MATE & Cinnamon and I have to say that both are coming along nicely. :) Mint 13 already feels ready for full release, no problems whatsoever on my laptop.

As much as I like Cinnamon though, I think I might go with MATE just because compiz has a hold on me.

Looking forward to the full release and support for the next 5 years.

Anyone else playing with the rc?
 
Just downloaded this actually. I am in the market for a new distro actually since Ubuntu got so frustrating. Will be giving it a go in Virtualbox this afternoon.

If i understand correctly MATE is based on gnome2 so is hopefully what I'm looking for.
 
Pretty set on Arch at the minute, although i might give it a spin when it's released just to see how well Mate is coming along.

Lets hope they can return to the glory days of Mint 7 ;)
 
I'm using Mint at the moment but I'm not used to it - what do I do, upgrade in-place or install the latest version over the top?
