Im running Vista 32bit, and Oracle VM Virtual Box(latest version) to run Mint or Fedora. The problem is it won't boot into the live cd on both the Mint and Fedora, I have checked the boot order, and still no joy, Anybody any ideas.

You haven't really explained what you have tried so I'll start with the basics.

1) Have you loaded the ISO into the virtual CD/DVD rom drive?
2) What happens when you start the Virtual Machine
3) Have you downloaded the 32bit ISO, not the 64bit.

I burned the ISO to disc, then booted off it. I got a 10second count down, and expected it to boot, then nothing happened. The Mint is a 32bit edition.

I've had no trouble booting Mint with VirtualBox on Windows, OS X and Linux.

You don't need to burn the CD to disk. It's better to select the .iso file in VirtualBox. It's quicker and avoids any burning errors.

I would re-download the ISO file in case it's corrupt.

How did you burn the iso? Did you actually burn an iso or simply burn the downloaded file to cd?
