Found this mouse a few weeks back when i was searching around for a possible replacement for my G9X. Uses one of the "flawless" sensors IIRC, looks like it should be ergonomically comfortable though i guess you can't know this until you try it, with the only real negative i can see from pictures is the lack of a braided cable!

So, is anyone planning on grabbing one of these when they release September 2nd, or have you got any praise or criticism about Mionix or their products?

Hey mate. I got it last week, currently at Insomnia55 but I made a quick overview:

Happy to answer any questions!

Cool man, let me know when you've had a bit more time with it, and/or post a bit more of an in depth review and i'll definitely give it a watch! May leave it a bit to see if there are any teething issues, or until there's a bit of a price drop but i do like the look of it!

It does have braided cable unfortunately. Braided cable just means more drag and less durability, as well as a stiffer cable. Its a good mouse though. Not too ergo and not too heavy.

Ah right, thanks for confirming. I think i'd prefer it over a simple rubberised one, but that may just be aesthetic > function.

If you're on a plastic pad braided would be fine. But they do still wear after a year for most users and get a little frayed. Then they stop looking so great

Anybody moved to this from the Naos? I'm tempted to make the switch as I've noticed my mouse grip becoming more fingertip than palm recently.

I have no complaints with Mionix, build quality is great, have been using it for years with no signs of wear.

At least one in this thread definitely has, and that's nvc. But I haven't just yet, too many other things to buy and not enough money, and my g9x still works so i can't really justify it just yet!

I have heard that it's rather small though, so it may not suit those with big hands. I'd probably still give it a go though.

Just ordered one! Hardware Cannucks review swung me.

I'll see which I prefer between it and the Naos and use the loser at work. Anything is better than the generic Microsoft mice they provide.

I think i'll probably be getting one, but all this talk of them being small is making me think twice, i don't have exceedingly large hands, but they aren't small either. Should probably compare it in size to my G9X really come to think of it.
