I have owned this mousemat from new for about a week now, it is extrememly similar to most full size gaming mousemats in size and fabric type.
Pros
1. Absorbs coffee at an alarming rate, prevents damp elbow syndrome.
2. Smooth
Cons
1. Has already started to fall apart, after a week. The top cover is falling off in areas nothing ever touches. Will probably get returned.
Overall, stick with any other type of mat, unless you drink copious amounts of hot drinks
