MircoSD Card not showing up

Got a microSD card from that is not showing up in Windows, I have tried two different card readers and tried on 7 and OSX.

Is there anything else I can try? I need to get the data of the microSD card

if it's a micro sd HC card, then the card readers may be at fault here, as some do not read them.

Not much help, but can you place it in a camera and use USB cable to transfer pictures?

Reason I suggest it is I had a working SD card, but then decided to format it using the camera. That stopped it being recognised in 2 laptop card readers and a USB card read. So now have to use USB cable to unload photos.

Edit: As you mention data I assume this will not work.
