i have some microwave popcorn in a bag, but alas no microwave.
i presume that if i put the contents of the bag in a pan with a lid, i will just end up with a badly burnt pan.

If you tear open the bag isn't there a large amount of fat in there already?
knock on your neighbours door and ask to borrow the microwave for 5 minuits.
If someone gets a knock on the door in a few minutes with someone saying "Hi, people from the internet told me to go to a neighbor to borrow their microwave for popcorn making" we know who to blame![]()
Woolworths were doing microwaves for 25 quid. They might be even cheaper now they're having their sales.
Go and buy one tomorrow.
Failing that Tesco Value do one for 25 quid as well.
